PA to Chairman

We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to the Chairman in the engineering industry! Join our client's organisation and play a crucial role in supporting their Chairman in all aspects of their professional life.

The hours of work are full time, Mon-Fri and there is fexibility for flexible working hours/hybrid working for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the right hand to the Chairman, providing efficient and effective administrative support.
  • Manage the Chairman's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communication, presentations, and other documents.
  • Act as a liaison between the Chairman and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Organise and coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and accommodation.
  • Assist with the preparation of board meetings, take minutes, and maintain records.
  • Conduct research, analyse data, and provide insightful reports as required.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects and ensure timely completion.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a PA to senior executives is essential.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Discreet, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the Chairman's changing needs.
