Our client is a leading provider of consulting engineering services across the globe. They are trusted and respected within the industry and take pride in their creative thinking.

Their structures team in Milton Keynes is currently seeking a structural investigation engineer looking to progress their career within a busy and successful team who enjoy a great reputation. Their work encompasses all sectors of the built environment and this role will be varied and challenging.

You will primarily be involved in the effective delivery of residential foundation and superstructure projects through to low and medium rise housing and commercial. Your genuine approach and great communication skills will allow you to help develop the growing structural investigation service.

The role:

  • Structural investigation and reporting on a range of building structures in varying materials
  • Work closely with operation leaders to develop structural investigation services
  • Manage projects and the team
  • Prepare fee quotes and invoices

About you:

  • Degree in civil or structural engineering
  • Chartered ICE or IStructE
  • Have experience in the identification, reporting and repair of building defects
  • Knowledge of Building Safety Act
  • Experienced in design of foundations, masonry, concrete including detailing, steel and timber structures to EuroCodes
  • Knowledge of residential market including traditional and framed structures
  • Proficient in Tekla, Tedds and AutoCAD
