This CNC Machinist role will hold the below responsibilities:
- Your role will be to ensure the production of high-quality products through operating the CNC machines.
- Ensure work is carried out safely and priorities health and safety.
- Take responsibility for the quality and inspection of their own work.
- Cleaning and de- burring of the parts.
- Set up machines using provided instructions and programmes provided by the production engineering department.
- Record production hours correctly.
- Run the machines in line with the speed and feeds called by the programs and monitor performance.
- Ensure good and professional communication is maintained with your opposite DDS machinist during shift handover.

What our client is looking for:
- Able to do metric conversions from drawings.
- Experience of machine part inspections using gauges
- Ability to run multiple similar machines.

- Experience in all aspects of Production Machining both Manual & CNC
- Experienced in all aspects of workplace practice.
- Knowledge and experience of working with Duplex and Nickel alloy materials.
- Experience of Fanuc controller
- Ability to edit CNC programmes when needed.
- Ability to use CMM for inspections.
- Good numerical and literacy skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications, email, and internet.
- Positive hardworking individual.
- Someone who is willing to be flexible.

Overtime rates:
Weekdays – 1.5 x basic hourly rate
Saturday – 1.5 x basic hourly rate
Sunday – 2 x basic hourly rate

Working hours:
Early shift:
Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Friday: 6:00am- 11:30am

(Our client is also hiring for a night shift and double day shift)
