Description

Finance Analyst

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions, including profitability analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and investment appraisals.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and analyze project and operational costs, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update financial data in the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with various departments, including engineering, operations, and project management, to provide financial support and guidance.

Profile

  • Educational Background: Working toward a professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a finance analyst, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with financial modeling and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
