YARD OPERATIVE/VAN DRIVER - ONGOING (T2P) - IMMEDIATE START - NIGHTSLooking for ongoing work with career potential? Are you organised and hands on? Looking long term for a career within transport or driving?Our client based in Milton Keynes currently has a vacancy for Yard Shunters.Hours: - 2100 - 0900
- Shift: 4 on, 4 off
- Rate: £15.66 ph (days)
- Overtime: £23.49 ph
As a Yard Shunter, your main duties will be to ensure smooth running of the yard, taking a very hands-on approach and able to adapt to a multitude of requirements as and when required. You will use your own initiative and identify tasks and duties to be completed throughout your workday.Duties include: - Moving vehicles of all categories around the yard.
- Offloading empty trays from vehicles.
- Washing vehicles
- Fuelling vehicles.
- Ensuring the yard remains clean, tidy and operational at all times.
- Vehicle checks.
Successful Applicants - Successful applicants will have previous driving experience.
- You will hold a UK driving license with less than 3 points.
- You will be physically fit, due to the nature of the role a lot of walking is involved.
