We are seeking a dedicated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on food production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Breakdown Response: Rapidly respond to and troubleshoot machinery breakdowns, implementing effective solutions to restore operations.
- Machinery Maintenance: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on a wide range of production equipment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and execute improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities and machinery performance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
Working Hours:
- Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off (days and nights, rotating shifts)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry is essential.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of food production machinery and maintenance procedures.
- Engineering Discipline: Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
