Regional HR Business Partner
  • Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

We are looking for a Regional HR Business Partner to support trust's Leadership Teams and Head Office HR team in delivering a well-run organisation focused on improving educational attainment for students. This role involves managing all aspects of the people management agenda and contributing to the development of professional HR practice.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Provide HR support service within the region and Head Office via telephone and face-to-face.
  • Develop supporting HR documents, templates, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure consistent and high-standard adherence to Trust HR policies within the region.
  • Line manage HR Officers, advising on effective HR processes and administration.
  • Manage employee relations issues, support with Joint Consultative Committees, and maintain a harmonious ER environment.
  • Provide HR knowledge and project management support on change management situations, including academy transfers, restructures, redundancies, and TUPE.
  • Develop common reporting processes for performance indicators and input HR data into Head Office systems.
  • Conduct HR and safeguarding audits, undertake performance reporting, and suggest new HR initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of new pay and reward schemes, including job evaluation and equal pay.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of HR training programmes and communication across the Trust.
  • Provide guidance on recruitment processes and pre-employment checks, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Fully CIPD qualified or working towards qualification or equivalent HR experience.
  • Experience providing complex employee relations/generalist HR advice to Senior Leaders.
  • Experience managing a significant caseload of HR cases with successful outcomes.
  • Experience implementing effective HR systems and procedures.
  • Experience developing positive relationships with Trade Unions and using HR and Payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of current HR legislation.
  • Excellent written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, planning, and project management skills.
  • Highly resilient, determined, and resourceful with high levels of professional integrity.
