Main Responsibilities as a Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager

  • Cultivating a robust culture of risk awareness and management.
  • Crafting, executing, and upholding technology risk management strategies tailored to financial services.
  • Excelling in internal and external stakeholder relations.
  • Steering and supervising the clarity, management, and reporting of our client’s technology risk profile.
  • Spearheading the advancement of risk and compliance management in tandem with technological advancements, ensuring alignment with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Setting the tone by fostering a culture of control that optimises risk reduction while meeting the needs of the business and its clientele.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proficient in risk management principles for cloud computing, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation, along with contingency and disaster recovery planning.
  • Experienced in cloud computing adoption programs, with robust internal and external governance skills, particularly in regulatory and risk management contexts.
  • Skilled in agile project management, adept at leading cross-functional teams, defining project scope, and crafting project plans.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long-term plans for organisational cloud initiatives and roadmaps.
  • Excellent communicator, capable of presenting complex technical information to diverse audiences, facilitating meetings, and building relationships.
  • Strong leadership experience, motivating teams toward project goals, providing guidance and mentorship, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
