We are looking for Transport Planners to join one of our clients in Milton Keynes. The planning team organizes the delivery and collection of product on behalf of the company and its customers across multiple sites, covering various different contracts. The team has recently expanded which reflects the success of the team within the business and is now looking for individuals who can continue to contribute to this.

Description
- Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations
- Ensuring premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
- Utilizing logistics IT to optimize procedures
- Supervising orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
- Communicating with suppliers, retailers and customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
- Planning and tracking the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Preparing accurate reports for upper management
- Understanding legal paperwork for transport regulations
Profile
A successful Transport Planner should have:
- A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or similar field
- Proven in logistics management
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
- Ability to work with logistics IT and statistical analysis software
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
