Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Milton Keynes. This part-time role is perfect for an enthusiastic educator looking to make a significant impact while maintaining work-life balance. As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping to foster a love for mathematics and improving student outcomes.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.
  • Maintain discipline through effective classroom management strategies.
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
  • Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.


Requirements:

  • Hold a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent) in Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 6 months of teaching experience within the UK education system.
  • Strong knowledge of the current Maths curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo this procedure).
  • Legally eligible to work in the UK.
