Milton Keynes Council is seeking a Social Worker for its Fostering team.
This is a full-time role, up to 3 days per week in the office and £38 - £40 per hour.
Please see details below:
- Completing assessments for prospective foster and kinship carers.
- Work with prospective foster and Kinship carers to complete IVA, SGO and Form F assessments
- To prepare documents and statements for court when required.
- Attend meetings relating to the families you are working with if required.
- This will involve travelling to the home of the carer.
Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Fully Social Work England registered
- Must have experience of undertaking assessments for prospective foster carers and/or kinship care
- Knowledgeable about the process of becoming a carer and have excellent understanding of fostering regulations.
- Be able to support families through the process.
- Be confident and good at forming relationships while maintaining the focus on the best outcome for our children
