Job Description:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning activities.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Encouraging and promoting social and emotional development.
  • Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with other staff members and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements:
  • Experience with SEN: Desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience with Young or Vulnerable People
  • Willingness to Learn: A positive and proactive attitude towards continuous professional development.
  • DBS Check: Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one through TimePlan Education.
