Are you an experienced and driven Assistant Asset Engineer looking for your next long-term contract opportunity?

Have you previously worked within the Rail industry and hold a strong understating of Railway Standards and procedures concerning inspections and assessments of Engineering Assets including bridges?

The role as an Assistant Asset Engineer

·Assist in the monitoring of maintenance trends, asset conditions, failures, and failure precursors to allow relevant action to be specified.

·Assist in evaluations of the output from inspections, examinations, and assessments of asset conditions to help enable renewals and repairs.

·Offer technical support when required.

·Working closely with senior colleagues and completing on the job training to help obtain knowledge and skills of railway engineering.

·Preparing reports on training and professional development for review by mentors and supervising engineers.

·Assist with inspections and assessments of engineering assets.

·Hold an HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering disciplines (Civil or Structural)
