thefutureworks are currently recruiting a Cleaner to work on a part time basis (4.30pm - 8pm Monday to Friday) at Coventry University (Milton Keynes Campus) until the end of May 2024.You will be required to work alongside the team / undertake individually the cleaning of designated areas, in accordance with cleaning specifications, to ensure that they meet the required cleaning standard.Duties and Responsibilities1 Undertake the full range of cleaning duties as directed on a day to day basis. Cleaning duties to include communal areas, stairs, corridors, lift entrance and the emptying of waste bins and removal of rubbish to appropriate collection points.2 Report any concerns/queries to the Domestic Team Leader.3 Use the full range of cleaning equipment and materials to ensure cleaning is undertaken in accordance with agreed specifications and work schedules, to an excellent standard.4 Clean all types of surfaces, fixtures and fittings using appropriate methods, equipment and materials.5 Report requirements for repair or maintenance of equipment and unsafe methods of working to the Domestic Team Leader.6 Comply in all aspects of work with COSHH and Health and Safety legislation.7 Participate in the calendar of annual events including Open Days.AND such other duties that may be reasonably expected within the role.Skills and Experience:Able to undertake a range of manual cleaning activities.Ability to main high standards of cleanliness in accordance with specified rotas.Self-motivated and able to use own initiative.Ability to work in a team environment.Excellent communication skills.Excellent customer service skills.Additional Information:The role will be working 17.5 hours a week 4.30pm - 8pm Monday - Friday£10.89 per hourMilton KeynesPlease apply today!
