Robertson Bell are pleased to be working with a Public Sector organisation central London who are looking for an experienced Interim Accounts Payable Officer to join their busy team. Our client is able to offer a mixture of on site and remote working for the duration of the contract. There is a strong chance of this role developing in to a permanent opportunity.
Key duties will be:
- Processing payments for invoices within the agreed payment terms.
- Escalating and resolving queries promptly to avoid delays to payments.
- Produce ad hoc reports for departments and suppliers.
- Preparation and processing of the weekly payment run.
- Reconciliation of invoices.
You will need:
- Previous experience of working in a busy accounts payable function.
- Iodeally public sector / not for profit experience
- Ideally an understanding of Open Accounts
