Location: Mitcham
Salary: 24,000 per annum
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
Our client isseeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lighting Assembly Operative to join their team in Mitcham. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hands-on work and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire various lighting fixtures and components according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Ensure proper functioning and quality control of assembled products
- Finishing and Patination of high end lighting equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing, preferably in the lighting industry
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and components
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Relevant vocational training or certification in electrical or mechanical assembly
- Experience with quality control procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
