Site Operative - UK/Overseas

Shorterm Group are delighted to be partnered with a global engineering/manufacturing business in their search for a number of full time, permanent Site Operatives. Currently our client have projects live across the globe and are looking to appoint people ASAP. Your main role will be mixing and applying Subsea Insulation and fire protective materials to a variety of different structures primarily within the Oil and Gas Industry. They provide solutions for a variety of different applications in several industries so no one project is ever the same! To start with you'll complete your training either at their head office or on site, encompassing the entire application process from start to finish. Your learning experience will continue on site, applying products to the structures as part of a team. Any certificates/qualifications that may be needed for certain site work will be paid for by the company, this includes offshore certs if offshore work is required.Driving license is essential. As there is international travel involved, you must be a passport holder and have had your first two COVID jabs as well as no criminal convictions.You'll be expected to be away from home for long periods of time (up to 12 weeks). When you do return home you will receive base salary whilst on R&R and between projects. When away you will receive uplifts for every day you are on site.OTE (base salary +uplifts) for this role is 43k-49k.
