Summary

Working for a growing business within Morden, you will become part of the office team as a Resource Planner.

This is working Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

Responsibilities for Resource Planner

  • Allocation/scheduling of service work to a team of field-based Engineers.
  • Daily planning of future engineer work, ensuring that all customer visits are booked in and confirmed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with engineers to ensure timely completion of scheduled jobs and address any scheduling conflicts.
  • Answer all telephone calls, emails and execute tasks complaints, order queries and general enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Obtaining Full Addresses, contact names, parking details from customers prior to Engineer鈥檚 attendance.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding their maintenance jobs, addressing enquiries, and providing updates on job status.
  • Coordinate with customers to schedule appointments and ensure their satisfaction with the company鈥檚 services.
  • Reactive coordination of engineers when needed for immediate work such as call outs.
  • Organising parking for engineers via online websites.
  • Filing and logging paper copy location schedules from the engineers and scanning in via the printer to the relevant desktop location.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Prioritise the workload to ensure agreed customer expectations are met ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the office.
  • Provision of support for the sales teams so they are able to concentrate on proactive selling.

Requirements for Resource Planner

  • Strong background in resource planning
  • Good knowledge of Central London, Greater London and the South East
  • Interpersonal skills ability to communicate at all levels and backgrounds and understands concerns, feelings and reactions of others
  • Able to interact to all customers/engineers whether on the telephone or via email in a professional and friendly manner at all times
  • Planning and organising self to accomplish specific goals
  • Problem solving with a willingness to make decisions once analysed making judgment on the best solution to a problem or situation
  • Strong Team player willing to participate as a full member
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills including Word, Excel & Outlook
