We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for one-to-one support at a primary school in the Morecambe area. The role requires an immediate start and involves full-time hours, Monday to Friday from 8:45 am to 3:15 pm. The successful candidate will provide individual support to a pupil who needs assistance with learning and behaviour, as well as offer general classroom support.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Monitor targets for the pupil’s future progress.
  • Establish and develop strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers.
  • Understand the needs of all pupils and monitor their progress in accordance with the school’s practices.
  • Utilise excellent behaviour management skills to maintain a constructive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • A clear understanding of pupil needs and the ability to monitor their progress.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to support learning effectively.
