Class 2 Driver

CLASS 2 DRIVER - ROROS, SKIP AND/OR TIPPER LORRIES

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 06:00 - 16:00

£13.50 PER HOUR UNDER 40 HOURS

£22.25 PER HOUR AFTER 40 HOURS

People Solutions are looking for a Class 2 Driver for our Client based in based in Musselburgh.

The ideal candidate will have experience driving ROROS, SKIP OR TIPPER LORRIES.

Day to Day Duties

• Driving/operating Class 2 Vehicles to deliver and collect skips
• Tipping commercial and household waste
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed

Essential Skills (THE CLIENT WILL ALSO TAKE CANDIDATES WITH NO EXPERIENCE)

• Valid UK Category C Licence
• Valid CPC and DIGI card
• Experience driving four, six or eight wheelers
• Experience driving RoRos, Skip Lorries or Tippers

Training

• Full week of paid training depending on experience
• Health and Safety training
