Job Title: Waste Operatives/ LoadersLocation: NairnDuration: Temporary 29th April to 31st May 2024Pay rate: £12.45 per hourHours: Monday to Thursday 7.00am-3.00pm & Friday 7.00am-2.30pmOur public sector client are recruiting Waste Operatives to work on a new project during April and May 2024, to assist with the roll-out of bins for the waste service change.As part of the project you will be carrying out duties such as delivering, assembling and labelling the bins and completing regular waste collections.This role involves heavy duty labouring and you will be required to work outdoors in all weathers therefore we are looking for people who enjoy working outdoors.Safety boots are required for this position and are not provided by the client, however, you will be supplied with all other necessary PPE.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out scheduled waste collection
  • Loading behind refuse/recycling lorry
  • Manual lifting of bulky items etc.
  • Delivery of advisory leaflets
  • Any other work as directed by supervisor/foreman
