Teaching Assistant Vacancy for 

Are you passionate about supporting students’ learning and well-being? Our client is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September supporting pupils with Social Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) and Autism. the school is based across 2 sites for KS3 - 4 and an additional primary site for SEBD pupils.

Here are the details:

Position: Teaching Assistant

Contract: Term-time only, Monday to Friday (32.5 hours per week)

Pay: £12.82/hours

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Help with administrative tasks as needed.

Needs of the Kids:

  • Our students range from 3 to 19 years old.
  • Some may have additional learning needs or behavioural challenges.
  • We prioritize their well-being and aim to create a safe, nurturing space.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children.
  • A commitment to supporting students’ growth.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
