If you are a recently qualified accountant who is wondering how to accelerate your career development, we have something that might interest you!

We’re looking for a new Finance Business Partner to work within our Assets and Development team, with responsibility for providing financial analysis and insight to help develop understanding of the financial performance of the department, challenge ingrained thinking and be a catalyst for change.

You’ll develop a deep business knowledge and combine this with your financial expertise to help steer the financial performance of the department and to identify and mitigate business and financial risks.

You’ll work with the senior managers and director to ensure that the resources required to deliver the business outcomes are accurately reflected in the budgets. You’ll help the directorate make choices to ensure that business priorities are delivered within budgetary limits. You’ll develop ad hoc reporting and analysis that identifies the root cause of issues and creates a call to action to resolve them.

Don’t worry if this looks interesting but also a bit daunting. Don’t worry if you think your CV doesn’t demonstrate you can do this already. If you are smart enough, you can lean on the support we have in house and our superb training partner to help you close the gap.

This is a great role for anyone who sees themselves as an FD in the future – so what are you waiting for?
