We have a rare and highly exciting opportunity to join us at our flagship pub The Red Fox as Wedding Venue Manager of the stunning Little Fox, our standalone wedding and functions space located within the grounds of our beautiful pub.

About you...

Curious, a keen eye for detail and passionate about delivering an amazing experience to our guests. As our Wedding Venue Manager, you'll be the heart and soul of our wedding operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every aspect of the wedding day and all events run smoothly, from initial consultations to the last dance whilst liaising with our sales manager and planning and executing a parallel events calendar to keep the space utilised as much as possible all year round. Your creativity and organisational skills will shine as you collaborate with guests to bring their visions to life and coordinate with our team to execute flawless events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, own and drive the little fox business – from annual planning and bespoke events, sales and service, recruitment and staffing to stocking policy, menu, offer and supplier negotiations, this really is a role that’s got it all.
  • Oversee all aspects of wedding and event planning and execution, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for guests after the sales manager, providing guidance, support, and reassurance throughout the planning process.
  • Coordinate with our culinary team, vendors, and staff to ensure seamless event execution, including setup, service, and breakdown, always looking for ways to improve the experience for our guests.
  • Manage event budgets, contracts, and timelines to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Maintain the highest standards of service and hospitality, exceeding guests’ expectations at every turn.
  • Seek, develop, negotiate, and review commercial arrangements and opportunities for the venue, alongside the General manager.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is both a strategic and hands on role which requires you to be present at events, and love being hands on, serving customers, working closely with the team, and managing the customer journey from taking bookings to the delivery of the event including any follow up feedback and the creation and ownership of the overall strategy of the little fox space.
