Role: Freelance Site Engineer

Location: East Ayrshire

Duration: 6 months

About the Role:

Our client a reputable Civil Engineering Contractor, are in search of a Site Engineer for an energy project in East Ayrshire. 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Setting out.
  • Quality check as built drawings.
  • Ensure that safety targets and standards are always maintained.
  • Administration and record keeping of Quality Assurance systems on site.

What’s On Offer:

  • June start for a 6 months duration.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • £28 to £30 (gross) per hour depending on experience.
  • Payment methods – PAYE or CIS.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum HNC level qualification in civil engineering.
  • Proficient in using Trimble survey equipment and software
  • Background in a technical role with demonstrated experience in civil engineering projects, particularly involving concrete work and substation projects within the Scottish Power Framework.
  • Hold a valid CSCS, and SMSTS card.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
