A leading Semi conductor firm have a Long term OUTSIDE IR35 Contract opportunity to join their small team taking care for ARM trusted firmware-A, and u-boot parts of bootloader operation on high end RZ/MPUs (Cortex-A variants). Work is conducted on early prototype FPGA platforms and first working sample evaluation boards. Work can require close cooperation with Linux development teams in Japan, Vietnam and Europe. This is a Remote working position.
The client are able to interview this week on Wednesday or Thursday any time for a TEAMS call. The client are looking for skills in the following area;

- Bootloader firmware development experience (inc. BL2, BL3)

- uboot development exposure
- ‘Peripheral’ interfaces

- ARM Trustzone
- SPI flash
- MMC

- Pin multiplexing
- Hardware debug
- Familiarity with reading schematics, basic hardware design
- Use of oscilloscopes for debugging hardware signal verification as part of possible driver debug

- JIRA

- Yocto build environment for building boot verification artefacts
