Role: Event Assistant Manager
Location: Newark
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Hours: Predominantly Monday to Friday, office hours, but with the nature of the sector, some weekends will be required as well as occasional eveings

Due to an increase in business, our client is seeking to appoint an Assistant Manager, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, a post that is newly created
Duties for the Event Assistant Manager:
- providing a first point of contact during live events
- ensuring all events run smoothly
- overseeing health and safety matters
- planning for upcoming events
- troubleshooting
- ensuring customer satisfaction
- providing front of house support
- overseeing staff welfare
- ad hoc duties as and when required
Experience for the Event Assistant Manager
- a proven track record in hospitality; restaurant or hotel
- excellent communication skills
- strong communicator
- flexible and adaptable
- organised
- knowledge of Health and Safety values
