Accountant | North Nottinghamshire | Competitive Salary + Hybrid Working Cherry Professional are working with a North Nottinghamshire based manufacturing company in their search to add an Accountant to their growing team structure.This role would be ideal for any ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified accountant or part-qualified accountant who is actively studying and aiming to qualify within the next 18 months.A very varied role with fantastic exposure to financial and management reporting, alongside regularly business partnering on a strategic level to operational teams.This company pride themselves on having a great team culture and work-life balance, where everyone feels like an important and valued member. They place particular emphasis on chipping in and supporting one another, without any micromanagement.An ideal fit for this role would be someone who enjoys getting hands on and enjoys working as part of a wider team. This role will have two other accountants at the same level as you within the team and you’ll report into a senior accountant.Role: Accountant Location: North NottinghamshireDuties include:- Act as a strategic finance business partner to the senior leadership team.- Production of financial and management reports for presentation to group level.- Variance analysis for P&L items.- Capex reporting and monthly forecasting.- Investigating inefficiencies and then streamlining the processes involved.For this role, it is important that you:- Are either fully qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA or actively studying and aiming to complete your studies within 18 months.- Possess an understanding of costings used in manufacturing industries.
