Our client are industry leaders in the manufacturing sector and at the forefront of their area of engineering with a flagship site in the heart of Newark-on-Trent. They produce for construction market and are one of the most efficient manufacturing sites in the UK. With over 90 million units produced per year and a business turnover of 400 million with this site contributing over 11 million there is an immense amount of job security at this site. A huge range of machinery can be found in this plant including a wide variety of conveyors, kilns, robotics, strappers and bespoke brick kit and heavy investment to keep the site as modern as possible. Our client are searching for an electrical maintenance engineer to join their talented team.
The Role.
As a maintenance engineer your role will include:
- Reactive maintenance/breakdowns
- Repair work, being involved with projects and continuous improvement.
- Planned preventative maintenance.
- Working on a range of 3 phase motors, inverters, contactors, PLC and servo drives.
The Person
Our client is looking for a maintenance who:
- Who has a level 3 electrical qualification.
- Has experience working in a manufacturing capacity.
- Happy to work alongside a team of motivated engineers.
- Somebody who is comfortable electrically in every regard.
