WORKING HOURS: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:00am - 12:00pm Friday

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Trainee Welder with experience of manual work and working in a factory environment, who is detail oriented and safety conscious.

Working as the Trainee Welder you will join the company’s established team to carry out welding duties to produce and number of components for edge protection barriers to a high standard.

As the Trainee Welder you will be shown how to weld and perform tack welding, conduct quality checks and adhere to health and safety regulations.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Trainee Welder will involve:

  • Welding Duties: Perform welding tasks to produce components for edge protection barriers
  • Tack Welding: Perform tack welding to hold components in place
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test welded joints to ensure quality and durability
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations
  • Quality Checks: Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Mig Welding experience would be desirable, but is not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Full driving licence is necessary as location has limited public transport options
  • Ability to read and fully understand engineering drawings is desirable
