We are seeking a motivated and results driven Telemarketer to join our team in Newbridge, Edinburgh. As a Telemarketer, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers, promoting our products or services, and generating leads. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and enjoys interacting with people over the phone.

You will play a vital role in processing customer orders, maximizing sales opportunities, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders accurately using available IT systems for Wholesale & Manufacturing customers, ensuring customers are informed of any issues.
  • Plan and prepare sales calls to increase sales while identifying lost opportunities.
  • Provide help and advice on our products to customers.
  • Communicate effectively with customers via telephone, email, letter, and face-to-face interactions, handling inquiries and issues efficiently and escalating to Line Manager when necessary.
  • Actively sell products to our customer base, maximizing sales and profit targets.
  • Utilize marketing and promotional campaigns to drive sales.
  • Identify potential new customers and manage an effective prospecting pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate records of discussions and correspondence with customers and internal departments.
  • Communicate relevant information gained through sales calls regarding lost/gained business, competitor activity, or credit situations to relevant personnel.
  • Work collaboratively with the commercial team to generate plans for account development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in telesales or a similar sales role.
  • Knowledge of the food or wholesales industry is a strong benefit
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with customers.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
