Retail Manager- Butchers Position Overview
My client based in Newbury is currently looking for a Retail Concession Manager to run their small butcher's unit and gives you a real opportunity to make it your own. This role will be alongside the butcher who takes responsible for getting the product ready to sell. You will need to have a retail background and be confident in selling products to customers as well as the ability to be able to upsell. You will be responsible for:
- Sorting the shop layout
- Basic stock management
- Occasionally helping to prepare products (put into packaging)
- Sell and upsell products
Retail Manager- Butchers Position Requirements
- Experience in a retail environment
- Happy with working around raw meat
- Driving license is desirable due to the location
- Customer facing sales experience
- Proactive on speaking and dealing with customers
Retail Manager- Butchers Position Remuneration
- Starting salary at £27,500 + profit share scheme, which will increase
- Autonomy on days worked, Saturdays are essential though
