The role will primarily focus upon outsourcing clients, with a chance to be involved in the development of this area. Our client is a successful and growing professional services firm.  With several exciting projects planned, along with regular client work, this is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual looking for the next step in their career.  Key Responsibilities  
  • Good working knowledge of xero, Quickbooks and Sage.
  • Ideally some experience of using apps with the cloud products such as receipt bank etc
  • Role will be involved developing this area, internally with the team and externally with clients.
  • Bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts for assigned clients.
  • Training clients in respect of accounting systems
  • Supporting clients with bookkeeping queries
  • Preparation of accounts for exempt limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
  • Managing client expectations
  • Ad-hoc assignments.
  Knowledge, skills and experience 
  • Excellent computer skills with good knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Sage online, Sage Line 50, Caseware, Word and Excel. (Experience with Xero is essential or other cloud accounting products.)
  • Excellent attention to detail with a diligent approach to work
  • Highly organised with the ability to set goals and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to prioritise and be flexible to client needs
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Part qualified, AAT qualified or qualified by experience with three or more years’ experience working within an accountancy practice.
