Permanent/ Optional Hybrid or Remote from Newcastle City Centre/ Monday - Friday 

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Integrations Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in architecting, developing, and maintaining sophisticated integration solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our integration projects are executed with precision and are in line with our strategic business objectives and IT standards.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Architect and develop scalable, performant, and secure integration solutions using Azure Integration Services.
  • Manage API solutions with Azure API Management, focusing on high-quality services for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using ARM templates.
  • Configure and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
  • Lead migrations from legacy systems to Azure, ensuring continuity of services.
  • Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of integration solutions, from design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Address technical challenges across product development to meet project deadlines.
  • Advocate for best practices in security, performance, and cloud integration.
  • Mentor junior software engineers and provide technical leadership within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • BPSS clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Expertise in Azure services: Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, API Management, and Cosmos DB.
  • Proficiency in .NET/C#, with a history of developing and managing large-scale integration solutions.
  • Experience with ARM templates and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience with version control systems such as GIT.
  • Familiarity with agile software development practices and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
