Newcastle upon Tyne (Hybrid 2 days a week onsite)

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced People Advisor to join our client's team in Newcastle upon Tyne. As a People Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional HR services and support to a diverse group of professionals within our client's organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support on all aspects of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practises.
  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions.
  • Collaborate with managers to develop and implement effective people practises, such as talent management, learning and development, and succession planning.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and programmes, keeping them aligned with the organisation's goals and values.
  • Stay updated on employment legislation and industry trends to ensure compliance and provide proactive advice to managers and employees.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems to enhance the employee experience and drive efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an HR Generalist or People Advisor in a similar role, preferably within the professional services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and best HR practises.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven experience in managing employee relations matters.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
