Air Tightness Technician

My client is a rapidly growing building services company with 20 branches located across England. They provide a complete range of services that cover the entire lifespan of a project, starting from the initial concept to its completion. The company offers expert technical advice to its customers on a wide spectrum of areas including environmental impact, energy efficiency, and overall performance. They cater to both residential and commercial structures and are committed to expanding their services nationally.

Requirements:

  • A valid driving licence.
  • Commercial awareness of Building Regulation and the Construction Industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good numerical aptitude.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IT software packages.
  • Working knowledge of test regulations and guidelines such as BS EN 13829, TSL1, and TSL2.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collating and analysing data during testing and drafting reports.
  • Consulting with on-site stakeholders.
  • Planning and designing test methodologies.
  • Providing remedial recommendations when tests fail.
  • Transporting equipment between the laboratory and the test site.
