Hours: 8:30 – 3:30pm
Salary: £83 - £120 per day

GSL is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream primary schools in South Tyneside and Newcastle Upon Tyne. The schools are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and resourceful individuals to join a dedicated and hardworking team of specialised support staff.
Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Provide dedicated support to teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Assist students with their academic, social, and emotional development, offering individual attention and guidance.
- Taking small groups for interventions – for example Maths or Phonics
- Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing the classroom and clearing away after class to ensure effective teaching can take place
Requirements of the role
- Positive approach to working with children and the ability to motivate, inspire and build rapport.
- You will have loads of initiative, be well organised and pro-active
- Respect for diversity, as you'll be working with pupils from a range of backgrounds
- Recently qualified or about to finish Teaching Assistant qualification.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
- A full checkable work history
- Be available Monday to Friday, term time only
- finishing a recent Degree.
