Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) (Full-time, Temporary)

Newcastle upon Tyne

£525 – £550 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

September 2024– July 2025

The School and Role

A school in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking for a HLTA to work on a full-time basis from September 24 until July 25. The appointed HLTA will be working within the EYFS department at school, to provide general classroom support, as well as covering PPA sessions for class teachers. This school creates a really supportive atmosphere, so children feel safe and happy in school – they were rated as ‘Good’ at their last Ofsted inspection.

Requirements

The desired HLTA will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
