The School and Role

A First School situated within Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant from September 2024. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working within Key Stage 2 (KS2) and be committed to providing a an inclusive, vibrant, and encouraging environment. The school boasts excellent facilities and transport routes, and this role is full-time, with potential to turn permanent.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:

-          Preferably have experience of supporting within KS2.

-          Preferably have a Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification.

-          Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-          A friendly and enthusiastic personality.

-          Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
