Our client, a leading law firm with offices in the heart of Newcastle, are looking to recruit a Serious Injury Paralegal to join their leading defendant insurance litigation team. The role would suit ideally a Serious Injury Paralegal who can demonstrate previous serious injuries experience however, our client is also keen to see CVs of good personal injury paralegals with upwards of 2 years' experience who are keen to branch out into serious injuries work.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting a number of experienced Solicitors on a caseload of high value, complex defendant personal injury claims generally valued over £500k.
- Analysing medical records and reporting on the same.
- Corresponding with clients and third parties.
- Negotiating settlement.
- Preparing cases for trial.
- Creating trial bundles.
- Drafting applications and legal documentation.
- Adhering to court direction.
- Post judgment formalities.
What's on offer?:
- Salary to £29,000 the top end of the bracket being reserved for those with serious injuries experience.
- Mostly home based, with 1 days office attendance requirement per week.
