Our client, a leading law firm with offices in the heart of Newcastle, are looking to recruit a Serious Injury Paralegal to join their leading defendant insurance litigation team. The role would suit ideally a Serious Injury Paralegal who can demonstrate previous serious injuries experience however, our client is also keen to see CVs of good personal injury paralegals with upwards of 2 years' experience who are keen to branch out into serious injuries work.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a number of experienced Solicitors on a caseload of high value, complex defendant personal injury claims generally valued over £500k.
  • Analysing medical records and reporting on the same.
  • Corresponding with clients and third parties.
  • Negotiating settlement.
  • Preparing cases for trial.
  • Creating trial bundles.
  • Drafting applications and legal documentation.
  • Adhering to court direction.
  • Post judgment formalities.

  • Salary to £29,000 the top end of the bracket being reserved for those with serious injuries experience.
