WSR are recruiting for a Depot Administrator for our esteemed client based in Newcastle.Salary: Up to £30k DOE Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8am-4pm & Friday 8am-3:30pmLocation: Tyne & Wear, NewcastleResponsible to: Depot Manager Depot Administrator Overview: Main purpose of the role is to support the depot manager in the day to day running of the depot this includes several tasks listed in the key tasks below. Reporting to the Manager and dealing with day-to-day issues, planning, ordering parts, creating and sending PO’S and dealing with clients on email and phone calls. To achieve the goals of the business unit by utilising effective scheduling and communication while monitoring all engineer activities to ensure the delivery of an exceptional customer experience.

Depot AdministratorKey Tasks:

  • Coordinator for the Depot, planning jobs in for the engineers.
  • Ordering parts for the jobs, getting the prices, sending the PO’s
  • Taking phone calls from engineers, dealing with issues
  • Risk assessments and RAMS
  • Customer enquiries
  • Following up orders
  • Attend health and safety meetings
  • Maximise sales opportunities
  • Raising orders and quotes
  • Stock management goods receipting
  • Managing regional emails
  • Obtaining Materials / Goods / Equipment Quotes

Depot Administrator / Coordinator Direct Reports

  • Engineers (all disciplines)
  • Trainee Engineers

Depot Administrator Experience , Skills & Attributes

  • IT skills required to a high standard
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel - working with spread sheets
  • Good communication.
  • GCSE Grade C in English and Mathematics ideal
