CompanyNigel Wright is delighted to be working with a successful, high growth manufacturing business based in the North East of England as they look to recruit an experienced digital marketer.  The role will be based from the manufacturing site in Tyne & Wear and is a fantastic opportunity with real growth potential.RoleReporting into the director of marketing and working closely with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Assistant, the successful individual will be expected to be self-sufficient, organised, and pro-active, with an ability to pick up a basic understanding of the products and the industry our client operate in.The role will involve the delivery of key projects and day to day activity designed to increase the Company’s digital footprint, brand and product awareness, and sales growth as well as support regular new product launches. Areas of responsibility include:
  • A selection of website development projects, working closely with the supporting agency. 
  • Online training platform development and promotion.
  • Development and delivery of paid media, SEO strategy and content plan to support key marketing campaigns, supported by success measurements and KPIs.
  • Ongoing development of social media channels working closely with supporting agencies.
  • Identification of and relationship building with advocates and online influencers.
  • Project management of video and animation development 
  • Further progress Company digital platforms to support pre-sales enquires, deliver digital technical guidance, and enhance online customer experience.
  • Develop and deliver email marketing plan in line with wider marketing plan and priority areas of focus for the Company.
  • Manage and improve on Amazon and website listings, ensuring brand and products are displayed well and represented accurately.
  • Keeping updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in digital marketi
ExperienceCandidates will ideally have:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Digital Marketing role
  • Understanding of SEO, including technical considerations, content, key word analysis and relevant reporting software.
  • Basic understanding of website platforms, content management systems and Google Analytics.
  • Social media advertising and Meta analytics.
  • Marketing digital communication campaigns
  • Agency onboarding and management. 
  • Content creation and copy writing.
  • Use of InDesign (preferred but not essential).
