Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician (Holiday Cover, Ongoing)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing and solving problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with site teams to monitor plant performance and ensure equipment reliability.
- Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems, depending on your specialism.
Requirements:
- Electrically Biased Technicians: Must have confidence in PLC fault finding.
- Mechanically Biased Technicians: Strong mechanical maintenance skills.
- Ideal candidates will have experience in the food or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environments.
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, both days and nights.
Shift Details:
- Shifts will be assigned monthly based on the holiday cover schedule.
- Mix of 12-hour day and night shifts.
Compensation:
- Competitive pay rates between £20ph and £30ph, depending on the shift and whether paid via CIS or PAYE.
