The Job You’ll be Doing;
- Prepare and manage export documentation and liaise with couriers and freight companies.
- Handle logistics coordination for international shipments.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide support across general office operations and ensure smooth day-to-day running.
- Process and reconcile sales invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor and manage stock-related transactions in relation to accounts.
About You;
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- A versatile and proactive attitude, with the ability to learn new systems and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - confident handling both phone and email correspondence.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Familiarity with Sage 50 accounting software.
- Proficiency in Excel and other office tools.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in logistics, exports, or a similar administrative function.
- Strong working knowledge of UK VAT and tax procedures.
