The Company you will be working for;

Our client is an established and successful company based in Walbottle. They are currently looking for an Office and Accounts Administrator to join their team. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below.

The Job You’ll be Doing;

  • Prepare and manage export documentation and liaise with couriers and freight companies.
  • Handle logistics coordination for international shipments.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Provide support across general office operations and ensure smooth day-to-day running.
  • Process and reconcile sales invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor and manage stock-related transactions in relation to accounts.

About You;

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • A versatile and proactive attitude, with the ability to learn new systems and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - confident handling both phone and email correspondence.
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Familiarity with Sage 50 accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other office tools.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in logistics, exports, or a similar administrative function.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK VAT and tax procedures.
