Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working for this excellent business in newcastle who are looking to recruit a Payroll officer to their team.

To assist in the day-to-day responsibility for the maintenance and preparation of the company Payroll process for all subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • To collect all necessary data to enable the preparation of the monthly payroll.
  • To assist with the preparation of the monthly payroll for all group companies.
  • Resolve any queries arising from staff in respect of payroll.
  • Liaise with HMRC at such times as required ensuring submission of all statutory filing requirements and satisfying all compliance requests.
  • Assist in the maintenance and submission of company pension scheme, P11d and PSA settlements.
  • Management reporting
  • Undertake appropriate training to enable you to effectively and efficiently use any of the technology currently used by or subsequently introduced into the firm.
  • Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used.
  • To ensure you uphold the Core Values of the Winn Group.
  • Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it

Measures of Success

  • Processing starters/leavers
  • Entering all bonuses, expenses, overtime
  • Entering all SMP/SSP payments
  • Supporting Payroll Manager with department changes and restructures
  • Process payroll within agreed timetable
  • Salary/Pension/PAYE reconciliations
  • Management reporting
