The Risk and Compliance Analyst role supports the Firm's compliance function. The applicant will have strong knowledge of KYC, AML/CDD and sanctions, preferably in a law firm. You will also need an attention to detail and ethical standards, with good research, analytical and communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

路 Obtaining and analysing all necessary documentation for KYC/AML/CDD and sanctions.

路 Carrying out CDD and screening for PEPs and sanctions

路 Keeping records of measures applied to each client matter.

路 Responding to KYC, AML/CDD and sanctions queries.

路 Evaluating new and existing clients to understand the nature of the business, ownership structure and associated risks.

路 Obtaining and analysing information on beneficial ownership.

路 Carrying out enhanced due diligence checks and escalating complex/high-risk KYC issues.

路 Investigating negative media/news findings.

路 Advising fee earners on AML and sanctions policy requirements.

路 Assisting with training new employees on the firm's processes and procedures.

路 Assisting with projects and ad hoc tasks as required.

KEY ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS

路 We are looking to meet individuals who have experience in KYC/AML/CDD and sanctions and a keen interest in a career in compliance.

路 [1 years] compliance experience gained at a law firm.

路 Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

路 Attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

路 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to distil complicated information in an articulate manner.

路 Excellent IT Skills with experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

路 Professional, reliable and supportive team member.

路 Good team player as well as an ability to work on own.
