The School and Role

A ‘Good’ Primary School situated on the outskirts of Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teacher from September 2024. Working as part of an established team, the successful candidate will be teaching in a Year 2 classroom; excellent knowledge of Read, Write, Inc Phonics and assessment is essential for the role. This is a long-term role, and the school are open to applications from both Early Career and experienced teachers.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have:

  • Experience of teaching within Key Stage 1 (KS1).
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
  • Excellent understanding of Read, Write, Inc Phonics.
