ASD Teaching Assistant - Primary
Location: Newcastle, Tyne & Wear
Salary: £75 - £110 per day
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
GSL Education are looking for a compassionate ASD Teaching Assistant to support primary school students with autism spectrum disorder in Newcastle. This role focuses on facilitating an inclusive environment and providing tailored support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist ASD students in understanding and engaging with lessons.
- Implement strategies to support individual learning and social needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and parents to maximize student success.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting students with ASD or similar conditions.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to individual student needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to inclusive education.
