Rullion are Looking to recruit for one of our Global Clients for the following Role:







Supplier Quality Engineer - Marine Projects



Duration : 12-18 months



Start Date : ASAP



Location : Newcastle Upon Tyne - With some small requirement to travel.



Inside IR35 - £35-40 Per hour

DBS AND UK CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED.

Ideally to have NDT/Machining and Lead Auditor Training.











Job Role



The role will be to Support Marine Projects in the development and delivery of robust Quality Control within the Supply Chain (including CA Parsons Works) to ensure supplied product satisfies the Engineering requirements of applicable Purchase Specifications.



  • Review Controlling Documentation.



  • Perform Supplier Witness Inspections.



  • Conduct Audits and Surveillance Visits.



  • Assist with Supplier Qualification.



  • Review and Approve Quality Records.



  • Support completion of Measurement System Analysis.



  • Support Lessons Learned events.



  • Monitor Alignment to GS3001 and other applicable Standards.



Requirements



  • UK Based



  • At least 5 years in a Quality Management role ideally with experience of working with Ministry of Defence contracts.



  • Able to demonstrate ability to work methodically with high volume and accuracy.



  • Ability to understand and apply requirements of Standards and Procedures.



  • Must have a driving license as will be required to travel



  • The ideal candidate will be required to travel across the UK and must be flexible to do so (some last minute requirements for travel as well as some overnight stays) So the ideal candidate should be pretty flexible. As well as commitment to do some overtime when required (Again this may sometimes be short notice)



  • Minimum HNC or equivalent in an Engineering related subject. Experience preferred over the qualification



  • Proficient in the use Digital Technologies.



  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
