Search Consultancy are excited to be working in partnership with one of the leading, Privately-owned construction businesses in the North of England. In a challenging economic climate this company is in an enviable financial position and has a growing pipeline of prestigious projects upcoming in the Northeast.Due to this growth, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team. You will be office based and in charge of a main client's account with the opportunity to grow this particular account. Key Responsibilities* Conducting cost estimates and budgeting for large-scale construction projects.* Evaluating tenders and contracts to ensure financial feasibility.* Monitoring project costs and variations to ensure adherence to budgets.* Collaborating with project teams to optimize cost-efficiency.* Performing risk analysis and providing valuable cost advice.* Be able to work to schedule of rates.
